Origin of the milk: Italy.
The Casatella Romagna is a fresh cheese of rural tradition, widespread in central and northern Italy. The main characteristic of this cheese is its soft consistency and sweet taste. The Casatella is suitable in many processes but it is excellent spread on fresh bread, and in combination with vegetables in vinaigrette, grilled vegetables, mixed picked vegetables and cured meats.
Ingredients: Pasteurized cow’s milk, lactic enzymes, rennet and sea salt. It contains no dyes or preservatives.
Storage and expiry date: To ensure the integrity of the product, the Casatella must be stored at refrigeration temperature (0-4°C), without interrupting the cold chain, pulling it from the protective bag in order to facilitate draining of the whey. Shelf life: 13 days from the date of production.
Allergens: Milk and milk-based products (including lactose).
